The Living Window returns for Edition 02 with Berlin-based artist Fava.
On Saturday, 21 November 2026, Fava will take over the street-facing window of Berlin Photo Studio for a live painting session, creating the work directly on site while the neighbourhood moves around it.

Fava’s practice moves between street art, mural painting, illustration and surreal-pop imagery. For The Living Window, the storefront becomes both canvas and public space: a transparent surface shaped by reflections, movement, daylight and the people passing by.
The work will be created live and will remain on view after the event as the second edition of The Living Window.
We are also preparing a short interview with Fava ahead of the live painting, where he will speak about his practice, public space, improvisation and the idea behind the intervention.
The Living Window is Berlin Photo Studio’s recurring public-art project: one artist transforms the studio’s large shop window during a live session, creating a temporary work that becomes part of the everyday life of the street.
