Questions, answered

C-41 FAQ

Is my film C-41?

Most consumer colour-negative films are marked C-41 on the cassette or box. Contact us if you are unsure.

Can I develop a disposable camera in Berlin, and how should I prepare it?

Yes. Leave the film inside the disposable camera and bring or mail the complete camera. Do not open the casing. Check that the label specifies C-41, then select the disposable-camera format and your preferred scan option. Send us a label photo before ordering if the process is unclear. Prepare your first film for development.

Can you push or pull C-41 film?

Yes. The live variants offer push or pull processing for an additional €2.

How long does it take?

The usual turnaround is 7 working days.

JPEG or TIFF?

JPEG is convenient for most uses; TIFF offers more room for intensive editing and printing.

Where can I develop film in Berlin-Wedding, and do I need an appointment?

Drop off your C-41 films at Nazarethkirchstraße 41, 13347 Berlin-Wedding, Monday–Saturday, 12:00–19:00. Film drop-off does not require an appointment.
